Grabbitz and Rezz Reunite for Haunting Collaboration, “Love You Til' I'm Dead”

Grabbitz and Rezz are no strangers to alchemy, but “Love You Til’ I’m Dead” may be their most haunting concoction yet.
Aptly released on Valentine’s Day via Blue Butterfly Records, the lead single from Grabbitz’s forthcoming album BIG EPIC NOTHING takes a daring step away from the duo’s usual bass-heavy formula, trading dark, hypnotic drops for raw emotional weight.
Grabbitz’s signature, soul-stirring vocals guide the track with an aching intensity while Rezz—typically known for her eerie, bass-laden productions—weaves a brooding atmosphere of tension rather than unleashing full-throttle drops. The result is a track that resonates far beyond the dancefloor, carrying an emotional pull that will hit just as hard for those hopelessly in love as it will for those nursing fresh wounds.
“Love You Til’ I’m Dead” marks the pair’s third collaboration following 2020’s “Someone Else” and 2023’s “Signal,” but it carves out a space entirely its own. Grabbitz characterized the new single as a “huge creative leap” for the duo.
“Having Rezz step in and produce on my album is an honor, and getting more familiar with her taste as a producer has been inspiring,” he said in a press release. “Having her wrap her arms around my project has given me confidence that there doesn’t always need to be a ‘drop,’ good music is good music.”

Spherical Samples His Own Wedding Vows In Emotional House Track, “Ride Slow”

Sampling his own wedding vows, deep house producer Spherical has released a deeply personal new track, “Ride Slow.”
Out now to celebrate Valentine’s Day, the track opens and closes with intimate snippets from the producer’s vows, adding an emotive touch. The samples form the emotional core of the song, complementing Spherical’s melodic house elements.
“This song is very dear to me—it’s a reminder to breathe, trust, and simply ride slow through life together,” Spherical said.
Musically, “Ride Slow” weaves deep house and organic house textures in a hypnotic beat. The lyrics explore the idea of taking life one step at a time and embracing the journey with love as a guiding force: “Loosen up my love, we’ve got a halo… Waves crash, gonna be alright if we just ride slow.”
Spherical has crafted a track that speaks to the soul and brings listeners into his inner world. For him, the release marks another artistic chapter following his previous work as the driving force behind the bass music act Govinda.

Avicii's Track From His Final Show “Forever Yours (Tim's 2016 Ibiza Version)” Has Been Officially Released

On August 28th, 2016, Avicii took the stage for the last time. The performance at Ushuaïa Ibiza is the subject of a Netflix mini-documentary, Avicii – My Last Show, which released alongside the feature-length documentary, I’m Tim.
During the show, fans were treated to plenty of Avicii’s originals, which have since become some of the most influential tracks in EDM history. Alongside classics like “Levels” and “Wake Me Up,” he performed a then-unreleased track called “Forever Yours.” Now, it has received a posthumous release nearly nine years later.
“Forever Yours (Tim’s 2016 Ibiza Version)” is not to be confused with 2020’s “Forever Yours (Tribute),” which saw Kygo and Sandro Cavazza complete the demo in honor of the dance music icon. The “Ibiza Version” out today, produced by Avicii alongside Marcus Thunberg Wessel, is the release of the original collaboration with Cavazza’s vocals as seen in the performance footage.
This new song follows last month’s release of an unearthed recording of Avicii in the studio, sharing some insight into his creative process. Not long before that, fans helped five of his tracks reach the top 10 on Billboard’s Dance Digital Song Sales chart following the release of the Netflix documentaries.
Avicii’s estate also released rare footage of the artist and friends listening to the demo version of the track. You can watch that video below and find the song on streaming platforms here.

Son of Son Shares Vision Behind Hit Collab With Anyma and Argy, “Voices In My Head”

When two Afterlife powerhouses join forces with Son of Son, or “The Great Blondino,” the result is pure magic.
The surging melodic techno producer has teamed up with Anyma and Argy, two of the genre’s biggest stars, to release “Voices In My Head.” The transformative track is a pure adrenaline rush, with a vocal hook that captivates and hypnotizes in equal measure.
After many viral appearances in Anyma’s historic Vegas Sphere residency, the hotly anticipated track hit streaming platforms today ahead of a tour for Son of Son, who is primed for a sweeping February tour of India. Meanwhile, Anyma is preparing for his final shows in the record-breaking Sphere, which he recently called “the future of live experiences.”
EDM.com caught up with Son of Son to discuss his creative vision, artistic goals and the story behind “Voices In My Head.”
View the original article to see embedded media.
EDM.com: What was it like working with Anyma and Argy to produce “Voices In My Head” and how has your relationship with each artist blossomed?
Son of Son: All I can say is that, despite the industry being a bit shitty sometimes, I just feel total gratitude for everything. Both Anyma and Argy are a huge part of this track. It really was a collaborative team effort. Anyma is the undisputed champion and Argy changed my life forever, man.
We each bring our own perspectives, which makes the process even more dynamic, and I will always be thankful for what he has done for me. It took 13 years for someone to finally give Son of Son a chance, and Argy was the first guy to do it. No one else ever did.
EDM.com: Where did the concept for the track’s vocal sample come from?
Son of Son: I was up late night working as usual and I got the idea to make a track about the creative voices keeping me awake. I had the concept ready in my mind so I started writing a few different phrases about not being able to sleep, or being awake, or hearing voices.
Eventually I came up with the final phrase and used AI to create the voice. Basically the first time I wrote lyrics myself.
EDM.com: Tell us about your affinity for jazz and how your interest pivoted into producing electronic music.
Son of Son: I heard Dave Brubeck’s “Take Five” for the first time when I was a kid and that song made 12-year-old me go, ”Damn, these guys smashing the drums are super cool.” After some successful nagging, my mom helped me buy a drum set.
The only problem with being a 12-year-old jazz drummer is that you have no one to play with. A few years later I snuck into a deadmau5 show with fake passes and from that point on, I knew exactly what I was going to do with my life—I sold the drum set and bought a computer instead to make electronic music.
EDM.com: How did your nickname, “The Great Blondino,” come about?
Son of Son: A friend of mine commented “The Great Blondino” on one of my posts. She’s as blonde as you can get too. People loved it and it became big. All of a sudden everyone started saying it.
It originally comes from a song by Stakka Bo, the guy who directed HBO’s Chernobyl. Who knows, maybe I’ll sample his song and release it some day.
EDM.com: How does your interest in fashion play into your music?
Son of Son: I was the strange kid in high school who drew sketches of clothes in my math books. The interest was always there—I even made some of my own clothes because I couldn’t afford the stuff I wanted. It’s a form of expression for me and it’s all very natural to me. The way I dress, the humor, the way I move on stage, the way I make content… it’s a very well-curated package.
I feel like almost every other DJ still doesn’t understand the importance of having flavor. Some character. We already have guys wearing the same black t-shirts onstage and that’s totally fine, but it’s not me. I’m happy to give people a part of myself—something different, something they’re not used to. I know that’s what they’re craving right now.

EDM.com: What has been your most fun live performance to-date and why?
Son of Son: I’ve had so many outstanding shows but I’ll give you the top three. The “X” show in Cartagena was perhaps the greatest night of my life. There was a flood in the city—my set was paused for 30 minutes due to thunder and rain—but we still had a great time with the crowd. I met a lot of amazing people and great new friends, and I danced with Adriatique and a wonderful group of beautiful girls all night. Thank you Adriatique.
My Cairo show was chaotic—loved it. There were like five or six fights, it was probably 35° Celsius in the club, I had a great time with this beautiful girl there, some really good tea, some hardcore Egyptian gangsters wanted to take photos with me after the show… it was just wild, man. Punk concert!
My show in Tunisia with the Alees World crew was probably the show with the most positive and loving atmosphere I’ve ever done. They also surprised me with a birthday cake, which was nice.
EDM.com: What are some of your top goals, both musical and personal, for 2025?
Son of Son: My biggest personal goal is always to take care of my mom, and to make sure I stay healthy and love every second of my work.
Musical goal? I’m going to keep throwing curveballs all the time, both in my sets and in my releases. Don’t expect me to do what everyone else is doing.

Armin van Buuren, Ben Hemsley and Lucy Pullin Unite for ASOT 2025 Trance Anthem, “Is It Beautiful?”

The walls between classic and contemporary trance come crashing down in “Is It Beautiful?,” the first-ever collaboration between pioneering producer Armin van Buuren and genre innovator Ben Hemsley.
Together with singer-songwriter Lucy Pullin, they bridge generational gaps while answering their own titular question with a resounding yes. A masterclass in emotional crescendos, the track is out now via van Buuren’s Armada label after a teaser in the A State of Trance Year Mix 2024.
The production delivers that signature trance euphoria but with Hemsley’s contemporary touch adding extra bite to the low end. Meanwhile, Pullin’s vocals float like vapor through the mix, her questioning lyrics echoing the spiritual yearning that defined trance’s golden age. When she asks “Is it beautiful?” it feels less like a question and more like a meditation on the genre’s evolution.
To that end, the new single marks the official anthem for A State of Trance Rotterdam 2025 and embodies the event’s “Transformation” theme, which “celebrates innovation and evolution within the genre,” according to Armada. The festival is scheduled for February 21-22 and will feature both Hemsley and van Buuren along with performances by Ferry Corsten, Adam Beyer, Agents of Time, Giuseppe Ottaviani and more.

LSZEE to Headline Denver's Mission Ballroom for Four-Night Residency

LSDREAM and CloZee are set to make history in Denver this June with an unprecedented four-night residency at Mission Ballroom, marking the longest consecutive run by an electronic act at the venue.
LSZEE will transform the famed venue, located in the city’s RiNo neighborhood, from June 19-22, 2025, delivering a pair of distinct performances that will each be showcased twice. The groundbreaking residency follows LSZEE’s triumphant sold-out debut at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 2024, which was named by EDM.com as one of the year’s best performances.
The shows also represent a pivotal moment for both Denver’s electronic music community and the duo, as they become the first ever electronic act to headline Mission Ballroom for four consecutive nights. The carefully curated event series promises a plunge into LSDREAM’s psychedelic bass and CloZee’s intricate soundscapes, not to mention support from Effin, ASHEZ and more.
c/o Press
This announcement arrives as part of LSZEE’s extensive tour schedule, which solely features doubleheaders at premier venues across the country. However, the four-night run in Denver stands out as their most ambitious engagement yet.
Mission Ballroom quickly established itself as one of the country’s premier mid-sized music venues after its 2019 opening. Its state-of-the-art D&B Audiotechnik sound system and moving stage design create an ideal environment for LSZEE’s dynamic, multi-sensory live experience.
Underscoring the unique nature of their two distinct performances, LSZEE have structured the ticketing to encourage fans to experience multiple nights of the residency. Special 4-Night and 2-Night Experience Passes are now available alongside traditional single-night tickets.
Directing $1 from each ticket sale, the residency carries additional significance through its partnership with PLUS1, a nonprofit that helps organizations launch funding initiatives for social and environmental justice goals.
